So often schools suffer from having a cheap-looking template website which fails to capture the personality of the school. Along with Hoyland Web Design, I spent some time getting to know the staff and pupils at Parson Cross. This helped me design for them a website which serves as an extension of the school itself.
The aim was to strip away any clutter and present a clean and extremely accessible website that serves both adult and child users. Parson Cross is an extremely active school and this is reflected in the website design.
The children and staff are constantly creating fantastic content and the website is designed to help bring that content to the fore. Staff and students are able to post news updates and the intuitive navigation enables visitors to quickly find the information that they care about most.
The clean design of the site is nicely complemented by the soft colour palette which brings a sense of fun to the design.
The website is a responsive design which ensures a fantastic user experience no matter which device you use.
